Regional Awards Show and Banquet Survey

Following Great Lakes Region Awards Show weekend, a survey was sent to each of the 72 Great Lakes Region clubs to learn whether the clubs wanted to make changes in our annual award show and banquet. The region thanks the 21 clubs that responded.

Show Questions:

Show and Banquet responsibilities:

Fundraising Activities:

Neither the banquet nor the show are put on to raise money. They are special regional events. That being said, the region cannot afford to lose money on either function and would prefer to break even or make a small profit. Several fundraisers, some specific to the weekend (celebration raffle) and some that are run over a period of time, were held during the weekend. These fundraisers often make the difference between the show making some money/breaking even and the show losing money for the region. Some of these fundraisers are also designated to help finance the Annual in 2008. Please rate on a scale of zero to five, where zero means “ do not do again “ and five means “ enjoy and feel this should be continued at regional shows.

Regional Awards

The regional assessment money is designated for the awards, but unfortunately does not pay for all of it, especially with entries being down all over. Please answer the following questions relative to our regional awards on a scale of zero to five, where zero means “Strongly disagree” and five means “strongly agree and/or support”.
